What is Bound Canvas?

Bound Canvas is a custom digital art studio specializing in fantasy-inspired artwork and personalized digital commissions. We create elegant certificates, album covers, character portraits, fantasy artwork, Second Life textures, custom graphics, and more—all tailored to your unique vision.

Is every piece custom made?

Yes! Every commission is created exclusively for you. We do not use pre-made templates or mass-produce artwork. Each design is personalized to reflect your story, style, and ideas.

Do you use AI?

Yes. Bound Canvas uses AI-assisted creative technology as part of the artistic process. AI helps generate creative foundations and explore visual concepts, while every commission is guided, refined, edited, and personalized through artistic direction and professional digital craftsmanship. The result is a unique piece created specifically for you.

Ordering & Commissions

How do I place an order?

Simply complete our Commission Request Form with as much detail as possible. Once we've reviewed your request, we'll contact you with a personalized quote and estimated completion time.

How much does a commission cost?

Every project is unique. Our Pricing page lists starting prices, but final pricing depends on factors such as complexity, level of detail, number of subjects, and customization.

Do you require payment before starting?

Yes. Payment is generally required before work begins unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Larger projects may be split into milestone payments.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Second Life Linden Dollars (L$).

Can I request changes after the artwork is finished?

Minor revisions are included to help ensure your artwork matches your vision. Major changes requested after final approval or significant redesigns may require an additional fee.

Artwork & Design

Can I send reference images?

Absolutely! Reference images are encouraged and help us better understand your vision. send them through Discord or email after submitting your request.

Can you match a specific style or theme?

Yes! We create artwork in many styles, including:

Can you create something not listed on your website?

Turnaround Time

How long does a commission take?

Completion times vary depending on the size and complexity of the project, as well as our current commission queue. We'll provide an estimated timeline when your quote is approved.

Do you offer rush orders?

Yes, when our schedule allows. Rush orders may incur an additional fee.

Rights & Usage

Will my artwork be shared publicly?

Unless requested otherwise, Bound Canvas may display completed commissions in our portfolio, galleries, or social media to showcase our work.

If you prefer your commission to remain private, simply let us know before work begins.

Can I sell or redistribute the artwork?

Personal commissions are intended for your personal use. If you require commercial usage rights, please discuss this with us before your project begins so we can determine the appropriate licensing.

Second Life Questions

Do you only create artwork for Second Life?

Yes, as payment for our work is through lindens only.  We will still do outside work, but only if you pay with the required lindens.

Do you create textures specifically for Second Life?

Yes! We design custom textures for homes, businesses, roleplay regions, architectural projects, and virtual environments within Second Life.

Motorcycle Vest Patches

Do you make embroidered patches?

No  Bound Canvas creates custom digital patch artwork, . Physical embroidery and manufacturing are not provided, but our artwork can be used by embroidery services if it meets their specifications.

Are motorcycle patch commissions always available?

Motorcycle vest patch designs are offered on a limited basis and may not always be available. Please contact us before placing an order if you're interested in this service.
